Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Will play Sunday, despite separated shoulder

Sanu is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers, despite dealing with a separated shoulder, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Analysis:

The shoulder issue prevented Sanu from practicing Wednesday and limited him during Thursday's session, but after he was able to get in a full workout Friday, the Falcons removed the receiver from their injury report. After a big Week 1 in which he recorded five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown, Sanu's production has tailed off the last two weeks, with the wideout picking up a combined 50 yards on six receptions. The news that he's now playing through what appears to be a serious injury won't help his outlook moving forward.
