Chiefs' Jamaal Charles: Reportedly poised to play this week
Though Charles (knee) will be listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Steelers, per BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the running back is nonetheless expected to make his season debut this weekend.
Analysis:
After approaching the Chiefs' first three games listed as doubtful, it appears as though Charles is poised to see his first game action since suffering a torn ACL last October. Assuming he ends up in uniform Sunday night, we'd still expect to see a solid dose of fellow RB Spencer Ware, though with Charcandrick West ruled out this week, snaps will be up for grabs, which Charles and Knile Davis (to a lesser degree) are candidates to absorb.
