Cowboys' Bryant suggests he'll sit out game vs. 49ers

Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant has suggested he'll skip Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Bryant, who is dealing with a hairline fracture in his knee, told reporters Friday he plans to play it safe, and trusts the team's other receivers to get the job done.

Earlier Friday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said in a radio interview that Bryant would be able to play through the injury if he could handle the pain, but won't risk worsening it.

Bryant's comments don't seem to jibe with Jones'.

The receiver also told reporters he regrets skipping an MRI and team meeting earlier this week. He reportedly did so because he feared bad news about his injury.
