Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Limited practice Thursday

Sanu (shoulder) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

While Sanu watched his teammates proceed through drills rather than participate Wednesday, McClure relayed that the wide receiver is expected to play in Sunday's divisional matchup against the Panthers. A return Thursday, albeit in a limited fashion, puts Sanu on the road to active status in Week 4, but his shoulder injury could continue to impact his activity level in advance of the contest.
