Russell Wilson: 'No doubt' I'll play Sunday

Troy Wayrynen / USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a man of strong convictions, so perhaps it should come as little surprise he's positive lingering knee and ankle injuries won't keep him off the field Sunday.

Wilson told reporters Thursday there's "no doubt" he'll play in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

"I feel great. I feel strong," Wilson added. "I'm excited about this week."

Wilson sprained the MCL in his left knee in Week 3 and was forced from the game. He sprained his right ankle in Week 1.

Wilson will reportedly wear a knee brace if he does play.

Asked about any potential risks associated with playing on an injured MCL, Wilson had a matter-of-fact answer.

"I don't think about risk," he said.
