Analysis:
Thursday marks the second straight day Peters was held out of practice due to the flu. He has been joined on the sideline by fellow starting cornerback Phillip Gaines, who has missed the past two practices due to a knee injury. If both defensive backs are ruled out for Sunday, the Chiefs will be forced to go with Steven Nelson and Kenneth Acker as the starting cornerbacks, with very little depth behind them.
