Broncos' Talib compares Mike Evans to Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is one of the most fearless players in the game, but he had high praise for Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans ahead of their matchup Sunday.

"He's a talented guy," Talib told Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times. "Big, fast. He goes in that Calvin Johnson category, that Julio Jones category. The big, fast guys (with) the big catch radius. His quarterback definitely trusts him. His quarterback gives him opportunities to make plays."

Evans returned the favor, comparing Talib to three-time first-team All-Pro Patrick Peterson.

"He's a lot like Patrick Peterson at the line, both really physical," Evans said. "I don't think he runs as good as Pat P., but he's just as physical at the line of scrimmage. No matter what, I'm going to try to be the most physical receiver in the league, and I've got to prove it by going out and dominating physical cornerbacks."

Evans will be in tough against Talib and fellow Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris in one of this weekend's marquee wide receiver/cornerback duels.
