49ers' Vance McDonald: Doesn't practice Wednesday

McDonald (hip) didn't partake in Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of The Mercury News reports.

Analysis:

McDonald didn't log another snap after his removal from Sunday's contest in Seattle due to a hip injury, and practice reps have yet to be a part of his regimen. They may not be this week, as head coach Chip Kelly implied to CSN Bay Area that McDonald likely won't suit up Sunday versus the Cowboys. Only time will tell whether Kelly's intimation comes true, but with Garrett Celek also sitting out Wednesday, Blake Bell is the sole healthy 49ers tight end at the moment.
