Week 4 Betting Preview: Predictions for every matchup

Reuters

Each week during the NFL season, theScore's Gino Bottero will handicap each of the week's matchups and offer up a three-pack of picks.

Denver Broncos (-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Over the last 19 regular-season games, the Seahawks, Broncos, Texans, Panthers, and Cardinals are the top five teams in total defense. Jameis Winston has faced a member of that group four times, posting a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 4:11. The Buccaneers went 0-4 SU and ATS in those games, losing them by an average margin of 21.3 points. Broncos 27, Buccaneers 7

Detroit Lions (-2.5) at Chicago Bears

The Lions are 6-0 in the last six meetings between these teams, and 9-3 ATS in the last 12. They showed a lot of character battling back against the Packers a week ago. That kind of momentum carries over. Lions 29, Bears 21

New England Patriots (OFF*) vs. Buffalo Bills

In the last three seasons, the Patriots played seven games with extra prep time following a bye week or a Thursday night game. They went 6-1 SU and ATS in those games, with wins coming by an average margin of 19.5 points. Patriots 30, Bills 14

*Assuming line of Patriots -6.5

Remaining Week 4 matchups

Miami Dolphins (+7.5) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Dolphins haven't looked great early on, but neither have the Bengals. Bengals 20, Dolphins 17

Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars looked like they might be a dark horse in the AFC South after a strong offseason, but those hopes are long gone. Colts 31, Jaguars 24

Washington Redskins (-7.5) vs. Cleveland Browns

Washington figured some things out on offense last week. Expect that to continue against a cloud-soft Cleveland defense. Redskins 38, Browns 14

New York Jets (+2.5) vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks' issues along the offensive line will be amplified by the Jets' elite defensive front. Jets 17, Seahawks 13

Carolina Panthers (-3) at Atlanta Falcons

The Panthers' two losses came against two of the best defenses in the league. Seeing the Falcons line up across from them will be a welcome sight. Panthers 27, Falcons 20

Houston Texans (-4.5) vs. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are a mess, and the Texans have something to prove. Texans 23, Titans 10

Oakland Raiders (+3.5) at Baltimore Ravens

A look back at the Ravens' schedule through three weeks takes a lot of the shine off their 3-0 record. Raiders 21, Ravens 20

San Francisco 49ers (+2) vs. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have been the better team thus far, but they limp into this one, missing a lot of key pieces on offense. 49ers 24, Cowboys 20

San Diego Chargers (-4) vs. New Orleans Saints

There are enough healthy weapons in San Diego to make the Saints' defense look as bad as it did Monday night. Chargers 31, Saints 21

Arizona Cardinals (-7.5) vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Cardinals have been hit-or-miss thus far. Bruce Arians will make sure his team bounces back. Cardinals 28, Rams 6

Pittsburgh Steelers (-4.5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The last 10 times the Steelers lost with Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback, they went 10-0 SU and 8-2 ATS the following week. Steelers 34, Chiefs 20

Minnesota Vikings (-5) vs. New York Giants

The Giants have been good, but they're running into a buzzsaw on Monday night. Vikings 23, Giants 14
