Broncos' John Phillips: Scores on the Bengals

Phillips caught two passes (on four targets) for nine yards and a touchdown in a win over Cincinnati on Sunday.

Analysis:

Phillips got the start in place of the injured Virgil Green and responded with his first catches of the season. Whether he gets many more remains to be seen. Phillips didn't receive so much as a target while in reserve duty during Weeks 1 and 2, and Green shouldn't be out for much longer. Jeff Heuerman could also snatch away any targets that would otherwise go to Phillips as he flashed some big-play potential in his first career action Sunday.
