Redskins' John Sullivan: Signs with Washington

Sullivan signed a contract with Washington on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Washington brought in the veteran Sullivan after placing Kory Lichtensteiger (calf) on injured reserve. Sullivan was released by the Vikings just before the regular season began, saving Minnesota $5.4 million. He could end up as the starting center, but will probably need some time to learn the playbook, making Spencer Long the likely candidate to start in Week 4.
