Steelers' Ryan Shazier: Uncertain for Week 4

Shazier (knee) is uncertain for Sunday's game against Kansas City, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.

Analysis:

Shazier was removed in the second half of a Week 1 game with a knee injury, but he returned in Week 2 and made a team-high 11 tackles. While no details have been made available, it's possible Shazier has suffered a setback, which could lead to more playing time for Vince Williams and/or L.J. Fort. The good news for Pittsburgh is that fellow starting inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons (shin) is expected to be fine for Sunday. When healthy, Shazier and Timmons should both be viable IDP options.
