Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Exits in second quarter with shoulder injury

Sanu was removed from Monday's game against New Orleans in the second quarter with a shoulder injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Sanu, the Falcons' No. 2 wide receiver, caught three passes for 31 yards on four targets prior to his early exit. His return is questionable, but he didn't appear to be back in the game on Atlanta's first drive of the second half. If Sanu doesn't return, the Falcons will look to Justin Hardy, Aldrick Robinson and Taylor Gabriel to handle expanded roles.
