Lions' Eric Ebron: Records five receptions in Week 3

Ebron logged five receptions for 69 yards across eight targets in the Lions' 34-27 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Analysis:

Ebron finished second on the team in both receiving yards and targets, but it was wideout Marvin Jones who stole the show for the Lions in this one. Consequently, it appears Jones has secured the role as team's clear No. 1 option down the field, leaving the rest of Detroit's receivers seemingly fighting for attention underneath. However, Ebron (6-4, 253) still projects as QB Matthew Stafford's most viable option in the red zone, a role that could prove fruitful on a weekly basis if the Lions are able to move the ball effectively. Next up is a Week 4 matchup against a Bears defense that limited Cowboys TE Jason Witten to two catches for 22 yards in Week 3.
