Broncos' Virgil Green: Day-to-day with calf injury

Green (calf) is considered day-to-day, The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Green was deemed as day-to-day to start last week as well, but ultimately didn't practice before being ruled out for Sunday's win over the Bengals. While his condition presumably improved from the time off, it remains to be seen how involved Green will be at practice this week. With that in mind, his status will need to be monitored in advance of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. In Green's Week 3 absence, veteran John Phillips scored a touchdown and fellow tight end Jeff Heuerman caught one pass for 29 yards in his NFL debut.
