Report: Panthers' Butler diagnosed with high ankle sprain

Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Vernon Butler was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss a few weeks, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Butler was seen wearing a cast on his right foot Monday.

"I don’t want to talk about it," Butler said via Black and Blue Review.

The 22-year-old recorded three tackles and a sack in three games.

Butler was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Louisiana Tech.
