Washington Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland is week to week with a strained tendon in his ankle, head coach Jay Gruden confirmed Monday.

The cornerback left Sunday's game against the New York Giants in the first quarter and didn't return. He was initially diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, and underwent an MRI on Monday.

If Breeland misses any time, it's likely Greg Toler and Quinton Dunbar will see increased snaps.
