Texans' J.J. Watt: Given day off Monday

Watt did not practice Monday, as he was handed a day off, Texans TV host Drew Dougherty reports.

Analysis:

Watt is coming off playing on a short week last Thursday versus the Patriots, so the extended time before this Sunday's game against the Titans coupled with Monday's day off should help his recovery from Week 3. Expect the three-time defensive MVP to return to practice later this week and fill his usual role in this weekend's AFC South tilt.
