Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell returned to the team Monday after serving his three-game suspension for multiple missed drug tests.

Bell again apologized for the suspension - the second of his career - and vowed that it will be his last.

"There shouldn't be any more off-field issues," Bell said. "I apologize to everybody for that. Now I just want to move forward."

The All-Pro running back is set to retake his starting job from DeAngelo Williams, who starred in his absence, racking up 258 rushing yards in three games.

The Steelers appeared to miss Bell's dynamic play - he leads the NFL with an average of 119 yards from scrimmage per game since being drafted in 2013 - in Sunday's blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, which dropped Pittsburgh to 2-1.

"The first two weeks were a lot easier to watch than the last game," Bell said.

Bell's 2015 season was ended prematurely by a knee injury, but the 24-year-old insisted he's 100 percent healthy ahead of his 2016 debut in Week 4.
