Ravens' Steve Smith: Leading receiver Sunday in win over Jaguars

Smith led the Ravens with 11 targets, eight catches and 87 receiving yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Jaguars.

Analysis:

The Ravens' passing attack struggled Sunday, as Smith was the only player north of 42 yards receiving, but they were able to piece together a winning field-goal drive with just under two minutes remaining. Smith has improved with each passing week after rushing back from injury to be ready for the season opener, and Sunday's outputs marked season-highs in targets, catches and yardage. He may not be asked to run deep as much this season after the acquisition of Mike Wallace and the return of Breshad Perriman, but Smith clearly still has the attention of Joe Flacco and could be a valuable asset as a possession receiver. Week 4 will see Baltimore host the Raiders.
