Steelers' Eli Rogers: Exits with toe injury
Rogers left Sunday's game against the Eagles with a toe injury, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Analysis:
Rogers suffered the injury in the third quarter of a blowout loss, finishing his day with two catches for 32 yards on five targets. He was ruled out for the rest of the game shortly thereafter, but even if he were healthy enough to play, there wouldn't be any reason to put him back in. Prior to his exit, Rogers shared snaps and targets with Sammie Coates, Markus Wheaton and Darrius Heyward-Bey, with only Antonio Brown having an every-down role.
