Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Injures left leg Sunday
Wilson injured his left leg during Sunday's game against the 49ers, NFL.com reports.
Analysis:
Wilson left the game in the third quarter following a horse-collar tackle in which his left knee was bent in an unnatural fashion under 49ers linebacker Eli Harold. Initially, Wilson missed just one play, but after the Seahawks kicked a 33-yard field goal to end the possession, he was removed in favor of backup Trevone Boykin. Trainers were seen fitting a brace on Wilson left knee, an injury that's two weeks removed from him sustaining a high right ankle sprain in the regular season opener. The Seahawks have yet to clarify if he'll attempt a return to the contest, according to Stephen Cohen of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
