Packers' Randall Cobb: Quiet in Sunday's game

Cobb caught one pass (on three targets) for 33 yards in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Lions.

Analysis:

Cobb's quiet performance came on Aaron Rodgers' strongest showing of the season thus far. The veteran wideout's only damage came on a 33-yard pass as a result of a broken play, while Jordy Nelson recorded six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns. That being said, Cobb is still arguably Rodgers' favorite check-down receiver, and as Nelson starts stretching the field vertically with long routes, space should open up for Cobb to work shorter routes closer to the line of scrimmage. He still carries great value, especially in PPR leagues, and will look to get back on track Week 5 against the Giants after a bye in Week 4.
