It was right there for the taking.

After an absolute gift from the Miami Dolphins, surrendering a strip sack in their own territory in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, the Cleveland Browns had themselves an opportunity to break the tie and come away with a shocking upset.

The new-look Browns squad, down to its third quarterback in as many games, was about to notch its first win under the new regime.

But Sunday just wasn't Cody Parkey's day.

The veteran kicker, who joined the Browns this week after a practice injury suffered by Patrick Murray, pulled his 46-yard would-be winner for his third miss of the game.

Cleveland's defense would get another stop to begin the overtime frame, but the Cody Kessler-led offense couldn't do much of anything upon getting an opportunity of its own.

The Dolphins marched downfield in just three plays after getting the ball back for a second time, closing out the walk-off win with an 11-yard touchdown run from Jay Ajayi.
