Packers' Datone Jones: Unavailable for Week 3
Jones (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 3 tilt with the Lions, ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky reports.
Analysis:
Jones was downgraded from questionable to doubtful during the week after missing all three of the Packers' practices, so it wasn't expected that he'd be available for Week 3. With Jones and Clay Matthews both sitting out, the Packers will rely heavily on Julius Peppers and Nick Perry to provide some pass rush on Lions quarterback Matt Stafford.
