Texans' Will Fuller: Patriots take away deep threat

Fuller saw a lot of coverage over the top, with a safety helping on any deep routes, which limited the rookie's effectiveness in Week 3's loss to the Patriots. "They did a good job. They played basically a defense where they were over the top quite a bit, not all the time, not all the time, but quite a bit over the top of (Will) Fuller and over the top of Hop (DeAndre Hopkins). It was difficult," said Houston head coach Bill O'Brien.

Analysis:

Fuller, who had two consecutive 100-yard receiving games to start his career, was held to three caches for 31 yards by the Patriots in Week 3. Given the success New England had in limiting both Fuller and Hopkins, the Texans can expect to see similar coverage going forward.
