NFL tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested, charged with driving under the influence, released from jail, and cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a span of mere hours Friday.

TMZ Sports obtained footage of the third-year player's arrest in Florida, and it appears as though Seferian-Jenkins could have avoided all of that.

In the video, the arresting officer told the football player he would let him go with a warning for an improper lane change. Then Seferian-Jenkins walked toward the officer's patrol car, thanked him profusely, and promised to shout out the police force after his next touchdown. The officer responded by asking the 23-year-old if he'd had anything to drink and would not let him go back to his vehicle.

Seferian-Jenkins was put in the squad car, where he told the officer about his dire need to use a restroom.
