Chargers' Antonio Gates: Missing third consecutive practice

Gates (hamstring) is not present at Friday's warmup practice, the San Diego Union-Tribune's Tom Krasovic reports.

Analysis:

Absent from practice for a third straight day, Gates is in serious danger of missing Sunday's game against the Colts. An absence would leave second-round rookie Hunter Henry as the top tight end, further depleting a San Diego receiving corps that has already lost Keenan Allen (knee) and Danny Woodhead (knee) for the season.
