Patriots' Rob Gronkowski: Listed as limited participant on practice estimate

Gronkowski (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, the Providence Journal reports.

Analysis:

The Patriots did not actually practice Monday on the heels of Sunday's win over the Dolphins, so it won't be until Tuesday that the media will catch a glimpse of how Gronkowski is getting around on the field. At this stage, we'd expect his Week 3 status to emerge as a game-time decision, though if there is any doubt with regard to the soundness of his hamstring for Thursday's game against the Texans, the team could elect to play it safe and afford Gronkowski some added healing time before the team's Week 4 tilt against the Bills on Oct. 2.
