Vikings' Bradford surprised by his performance vs. Packers

Brace Hemmelgarn / USA TODAY Sports

Many prognosticators were surprised by Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford's performance against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, leading his team to a 17-14 victory. Count Bradford among that group.

Bradford posted one of the best games of his career in his first start with the Vikings, going 22-of-31 for 286 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. After the game, Bradford reflected upon his divisional victory.

"Did I expect it to go like this?" Bradford said postgame to The MMQB's Peter King. "Probably not. But I just approached it the way I've been approaching things since I got here - one day at a time. Show up every day trying to learn as much as I can."

Next up for the Vikings are the defending NFC champion Carolina Panthers.
