Russell Wilson hopes to 'feel amazing' for game vs. 49ers

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson rehabbed his ankle well enough to play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, and he hopes to feel even better for his next game.

Wilson's rehab results were shockingly positive ahead of his Week 2 matchup, although the on-field results didn't reflect it, as the Seahawks lost 9-3. Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters Wilson will require another week of rehab, which the quarterback is confident will work.

"We accelerated the rehab process so fast," Wilson said, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia. "Hopefully by this weekend I will feel amazing. I feel pretty strong right now already. Just keep icing it, keep praying and keep working."

The Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, as Seattle looks to shed their offensive woes after scoring a total of just 15 points over the season's first two weeks.
