Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will undergo an MRI on his knee Monday, head coach Mike Zimmer confirmed following his team's 17-14 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Peterson entered the locker room after the game on crutches, sporting a brace on his right leg.

"I don't know. We'll get an MRI in the morning," Zimmer said of Peterson's status during his postgame press conference.

Peterson rushed for 19 yards on 12 carries, adding two receptions for 7 yards before leaving the game. The running back was helped to the locker room with the assistance of trainers.

Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon will see increased snaps if Peterson is unable to play Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
