Colts' Andrew Luck: Turned over twice by Denver

Luck completed 21 of 40 passes for 197 yards a touchdown and a pick in Sunday's loss to Denver. He also rushed for 22 yards on three carries and lost a fumble.

Analysis:

Both of Luck's turnovers were returned for touchdowns and the QB didn't crack 100 yards passing until the fourth quarter. Luck made some clutch throws and escaped pressure for a dazzling 21-yard gain on third and long, but Sunday displayed the same issues the Colts' offense has been plagued with for years. When given time in the team's vertical passing game, he's excellent- as evidenced by last week's performance against Detroit during which he averaged over eight yards per attempt, threw four touchdowns, didn't turn the ball over and was sacked a modest two times. Under pressure from Denver's front on Sunday, Luck was sacked five times, was limited to under five yards per attempt and turned the ball over twice.
