Chargers' Travis Benjamin: Scores twice while assuming leading role against Jaguars

Benjamin caught all six of his targets for 115 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Jaguars.

Analysis:

Benjamin filled the void left by Keenan Allen's season-ending torn ACL and then some, catching multiple touchdowns for the first time since Week 2 of last season while reaching triple-digit receiving yards for the first time since Week 10. He's likely to get an even greater share of quarterback Philip Rivers' attention moving forward with receiving back Danny Woodhead succumbing to a knee injury of his own in this one. As long as he doesn't fall victim to the injury bug going around in San Diego, the 26-year-old wide receiver has an excellent shot at his first career 1,000-yard season.
