Analysis:

After Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a shoulder injury Sunday and rookie Jacoby Brisset took over at QB, Edelman (a signal-caller in college) was probably the next man up at the position for the Patriots. Looking ahead to Week 3, Edelman figures to be catching passes from Brissett on Thursday against the Texans. It's a scenario that cuts into Edelman's short-term fantasy upside, though fortunately top QB Tom Brady is slated to return to the team's lineup in Week 5.
