Rams' Gurley: We'll beat Seahawks 'for sure'

It didn't take long for Todd Gurley to forget his team's putrid Monday night performance.

The Los Angeles Rams running back fully expects his team to knock off the division-rival Seattle Seahawks this weekend, just six days after falling to the lowly San Francisco 49ers.

"We’re going to get a win this week, for sure," Gurley said Thursday, according to a press conference transcript from TurfShowTimes.com.

Gurley gave his prediction after being asked if a shorter week could enhance his team's preparation for the Seahawks.

"Obviously, you want to have that extra day to prepare, but I just feel like after a loss like that, you’re just so ready to get back at it," said Gurley. "We're definitely ready to play Sunday."

While the statement seems outlandish given the team's terrible early performance, the Rams did go 2-0 against the Seahawks last season.
