Vikings' Zimmer says Bradford ready for Week 2

While he won't name a starter, Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer may be tipping his hand on the favorite.

After reiterating that he won't announce his starting quarterback, Zimmer told reporters on Friday that Sam Bradford has worked hard enough to be ready for the team's Sunday matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

Bradford did not play in the Vikings' season opener with Shaun Hill getting the nod, but reportedly took all the first-team reps with the starting offense on Wednesday.

Given the hefty price tag paid by the Vikings for Bradford's services, there's little doubt he will be getting the start sometime soon, it's just a matter of when.
