Broncos' Demaryius Thomas: Hobbles his way through Wednesday's practice

Thomas (hip) hobbled his way through Wednesday's practice, participating in approximately one-third of the session, according to The Denver Post.

Analysis:

Thomas practiced for the first time since injuring his hip in Thursday's win over the Panthers, but it sounds as if he was barely able to take part, despite playing with the injury throughout most of the regular-season opener. While an MRI on Friday didn't reveal any structural damage, Thomas is clearly bothered by significant pain, with multiple reports confirming that he was visibly struggling during Wednesday's session. He even sought out a second opinion earlier this week, but his participation Wednesday suggests nothing new was discovered. With pain management seemingly the main concern, head coach Gary Kubiak still expects Thomas to play in Sunday's game against the Colts.
