Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Sanu (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "Sanu and Julio [Jones] will be limited today," head coach Dan Quinn said. "We anticipate their arrow pointing up for more work [on Thursday] heading into the weekend."

Analysis:

Sanu reeled off a 59-yard reception and five-yard touchdown in the midst of a five-catch, 80-yard effort in his Falcons debut this past Sunday against the Buccaneers. Afterward, though, he exhibited a clear limp in the locker room as the result of an apparent ankle injury. A limited session Wednesday reflects that reality, but his practice reps have the potential to increase as the week proceeds, per Quinn.
