While the Cleveland Browns were planning to have Robert Griffin III as their starting quarterback this season, they're prepared to move on without him.

Head coach Hue Jackson told the media on Wednesday that the team has "a plan in place" if another quarterback is needed. The Browns are currently planning to go forward with two quarterbacks - veteran starter Josh McCown and rookie backup Cody Kessler - on the roster, but would likely need to add another if they suffer another injury at the position.

Jackson did not go into detail as to what his plan is if he needed to replace a quarterback, but suggested Terrelle Pryor, who recently converted from receiver to quarterback, could be an option.

The Browns like Pryor at receiver and have been impressed by his transition to his new position, but with a lack of veteran quarterbacks on the free-agent market, he may be their best bet, if needed.

The 27-year-old last played quarterback for the Oakland Raiders in 2013, throwing for 1,798 yards and seven touchdowns through nine starts.
