Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas may not be facing any sort of absence after all.

Head coach Gary Kubiak told Denver Sports 760 he expects Thomas to take part in Wednesday's practice just days after reports surfaced indicating there was some concern he would miss time with a hip injury.

An earlier report noted Thomas was participating in Monday's workout with the team, but Kubiak later clarified he was merely in attendance and not taking part.

Either way, rejoining his teammates for the first official practice of the week would suggest the ailment isn't serious.

He managed to stay in Thursday night's season-opening win over the Carolina Panthers despite sustaining the injury in the first quarter, notching four receptions for 48 yards. He'll continue to pair with Emmanuel Sanders to give first-year starter Trevor Siemian a strong passing-game tandem.
