Texans' Brock Osweiler: Throws for two scores in Texans debut

Osweiler completed 22 of 35 passes for 231 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Bears. He added 16 yards on four carries.

Analysis:

Osweiler benefited from the emergence of first-round pick Will Fuller alongside DeAndre Hopkins on the outside, as the two wide receivers combined for 161 receiving yards and both Texans touchdowns. Houston featured a balanced attack with 35 runs and 35 passes, and that should continue to be the case with fellow newcomer Lamar Miller primed to carry the mail on the ground. Despite the talented receiving corps, expectations should be tempered for the 25-year-old quarterback after he topped 300 passing yards just once in seven starts for the Broncos.
