Bills' LeSean McCoy: Healthy entering his eighth season

McCoy feels much healthier entering 2016 than he did prior to last season, when his hamstring was a constant bother, BuffaloBills.com reports. Says the veteran, "This first game means a lot to me. Just to be healthy and ready to roll. Last year I was battling so much with injuries and everything and trying to get healthy. There are no excuses. I'm ready to go. I feel like I'm 100 percent."

Analysis:

We've seen McCoy slip in some drafts based on his injury-marred numbers in 2015, plus his offseason legal troubles - he was later cleared - and age seem to be making him one of those guys that draws a few wise-guy comments when he gets picked in leagues. But looking past that, McCoy looked agile as ever last season during games when he was close to full health, plays for what could be the league's best run offense, and doesn't have much in the way of competition. Translation: There's value to be had here if the rest of you league turns its nose up at McCoy.
