Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu: Unlisted on Wednesday's injury report

Mathieu (knee) was not listed on the Cardinals' injury report Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Analysis:

There was some question whether Mathieu would reach 100 percent in advance of Week 1, which is less than nine months removed from a second ACL tear. Fortunately for the All-Pro defensive back, he didn't injure the knee that plagued his first recovery in 2014, and certain milestones (a contract extension, ditching the PUP list, and receiving clearance to play) in August indicated Mathieu was on the correct course. With active status imminent on Sunday night against the Patriots, the Cardinals' defense is nearing full capacity.
