Bills' LeSean McCoy: Misses practice for personal reasons

McCoy was excused from Tuesday's practice for personal reasons, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.

Analysis:

With five days remaining until the Bills kick off their season in Baltimore, this probably won't be anything to worry about. However, nothing is known about the situation at this time, so there may be cause for concern if McCoy isn't back at practice by Thursday or Friday. Assuming he's available, the 28-year-old running back should get plenty of touches against a Baltimore defense that enters Week 1 with a lot of uncertainty at all three levels. Mike Gillislee and Reggie Bush figure to open the season as McCoy's backups, with fifth-round rookie Jonathan Williams perhaps eventually having a shot to mix in.
