San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested Monday after allegedly punching a 70-year-old man in the face, KTVU's Michelle Toy reports, citing San Francisco police sources.

Miller, 29, reportedly tried to check into a local hotel on Sunday night, but was turned away because the hotel was full. He returned Monday morning, knocked on one of the room's doors, and was told by a male guest inside the room that he had the wrong room.

Miller is alleged to have then attacked the guest. The guest's 70-year-old father, who was also in the room, came to aid his son and was punched in the face by Miller.

The 70-year-old reportedly suffered broken bones in the altercation. Both he and his son were taken to hospital.

Miller reportedly fled the scene.

Miller was arrested for spousal battery in March after allegedly shoving his fiancee's face into the ground during an argument and breaking her phone. The charges were later reduced to misdemeanor vandalism.
