Eagles' Lane Johnson: Will play Week 1 if suspension is not finalized
If the NFL does not finalize Johnson's potential 10-game suspension by Sept. 11, the Eagles will start him at right tackle, Philly.com reports.
Analysis:
It's not clear on what basis the league might be moving in its consideration of Johnson's expected 10-game suspension, but it's in the interests of the Eagles to use him whenever available. The league still has 11 days to act on the suspension, though.
