49ers' Jeremy Kerley: Traded by Lions

The Lions have agreed to trade Kerley to the 49ers for offensive lineman Brandon Thomas, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Analysis:

After emerging as an odd man out in the Detroit wideout corps, Kerley brings added slot depth and experience to the 49ers' pass-catching unit. While his path to fantasy relevance is not immediate, Kerley -- who caught 16 passes for 152 yards and two TDs for the Jets in 2015 -- should be able to crack San Francisco's 53-man roster.
