Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday he expects tight ends Dennis Pitta and Maxx Williams to return before the season opener on Sep. 11 against the Buffalo Bills.

Pitta has been sidelined since the start of August after breaking his finger in a fight with a teammate. Williams has been out with an undisclosed injury.

After losing Benjamin Watson for the year due to a torn Achilles, the news that both Pitta and Williams should be healthy for the start of the regular season is a big boost for Baltimore.

Pitta has played just three games in two seasons because of lingering hip issues.
