Ravens' Maxx Williams: Close to returning

Williams (undisclosed) will return shortly after the Ravens' final preseason game, according to coach John Harbaugh.

Analysis:

Williams has missed Baltimore's past two preseason tilts due to an undisclosed injury, and although he'll seemingly return soon, Harbaugh was somewhat vague as to whether he'll be ready for Week 1. After Ben Watson's season-ending Achilles injury, Crockett Gillmore leads the Ravens' healthy options at tight end right now, so getting Williams and Dennis Pitta (finger) back soon would provide a needed lift for the team.
